The picture in the header was taken in Mexico, near Tulum (with my glorious Canon underwater case, now passed out); the black figures are quite obviously me and my lovely pets. The doggy is called Hilary (Clinton-Bresciani) and the black cat is called Salem, like in “Sabrina the teenage witch” – you are advised

My main hobbies are travelling, animals, to keep in touch with my friends worldwide, skating, scubadiving, reading and play around with the computer. I often volunteer and since few years I’m the sponsor of a boy in Andhra Pradesh, India, through the association Lankama and another disabled boy in Varanasi, at Premjyoti school. If you feel a good person today and want to be a sponsor too, please let me know, I’ll put you in contact with people that do not waist your money. I checked it out myself.

By the way, I am a PhD student and I just received two grants to conduct research abroad, first at Harvard University (Boston), then at the National University of Singapore (grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation for Research), until February 2010. I was conducting my PhD for 2 years at the University of Lugano until February 2009, and I was also at the University of Cambridge (UK) as a visiting researcher at the Computer Laboratory in 2007. Before, I studied Corporate Communication (Master of Science) in Lugano, and I also studied at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid (freemover for a semester), at the Politecnico di Milano (Bachelor in Communication Design) and at the Franklin County High Scool, in Virginia.

I finally decided to start my blog since I’ve been changing country quite often lately, so I hope we can keep in touch here with all the people I met in all the corners of the world! Just write your comments, or send me an email, or-better- start your own blog!

Why travel virus? I got this virus some long years ago in an high-school exchange with Munich, Germany, and it was so cool… and yea, let’s do it again and again… since then… I just can’t stop traveling! There are no medicine to cure this virus, so the only solution is just keep traveling, meeting people from everywhere, and moving from one country to another ( I moved 8 times in 5 foreign countries in 9 years… quite crazy)!!

One of my goals is to visit all the 194 countries in the world (so far only 15%) If you are ready to travel with me… let’s start!

Complimenti per la grafica e le immagini del blog, si vede che c’è il tocco di una designer, ma del resto mi aspettavo il massimo dalla nostra travel manager di fiducia!!!

I saw your blog about INDIA &Kerala. I am from Kerala, but I didn’t saw other places (exept mumbai & some places in madhya pradesh). but really when I read your note I knew the special taste of the places. any way thankyou. good luck to your continuing journy.
