Travel Virus

…and all in one week! Crazy
that’s me anyway…

I was so busy I even forgot to take pictures in St. Gallen canton! It was a wonderful 28°C shining day at lake Constance, where I met old and new colleagues for an inspiring research meeting. Just 10 Km from the university of St. Gallen there the beautiful lake Constance, or Bodensee. It’s so wide that it reminds me a lot of lake Garda
Then again back to my home university in Lugano for a day, where I could met most of my friends despite it’s the holiday season, great!
I never though I would miss Lugano… but yea, weird things happen, and do miss it! I miss my friends, my office with 2 BIG windows, the view of the mountains, the fresh air… so for enjoying Lugano properly I had lunch and dinner at the lake (I have to confess… a big pizza!).
Time to move again, back to Italy some another farewell party, probably the 10th this year already
An in the few days home I even managed to add a new beast to my parents’ house zoo, a water turtle! It’s called Terry and was probably abandoned by someone who went on holiday or thought it’s too big to stay in a house… I don’t know because it doesn’t speak (yet), but I made it a new house with rocks, sand, trees and swimming pool! I hope it can survive until I come back in February and I can take care of it personally…
Anyone wants to adopt it?!?
