Typical tour of Lugano
November 25, 2008 at 5:44 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentThis last weekend I had some family friends visiting Lugano. I took them around my usual typical tour of the city which starts from Parco Ciani (awesome in every season!), where I took this picture of a little curious bird, walking through the park up to the casino, then toward the center… We stopped there for lunch and then again walking until Paradiso, back to the center through via Nassa, reaching Piazza della Riforma with he city hall and all the banks, passing through Quartiere Maghetti, and as conclusion I couldn’t miss the university!
Morcote, Lake Lugano

There is a nice walk up to the church on the top, and there I found the most beautiful cemetery in the world! Since we all have to die one day, I think this is the best place where to go afterwards (see the picture)! There is an awesome view on the lake from the cemetery and it is also very well kept with flowers and statues.
However I’m committed to find a place like this to live also before passing away!
Stuttgart
November 2, 2008 at 9:45 pm | In Uncategorized | Leave a CommentFinally some travelling again! I visited the German city of Stuttgart, which is quite big, as you can see from the picture (almost 600.000 people). There is also a lot of green around the city, and the famous Black Forest. Thursday morning it was snowing… and there was also a little Christmas market with bratwurst and gluewein… but it was only October! Anyway, it was nice to have a glimps of christmas atmosphere
The picture was taken from the top of the TV tower, which is a nice place to visit, not very far from the city. Other must see are the new casle (neuschloss), the city hall (very new building) and various churches and nice houses in the inner city.
